Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Investigator to conduct
impartial pre-employment investigations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct fact-based pre-employment investigations and analyze
applications from municipal agencies
Perform candidate interviews and execute criminal background checks
using public records
Prepare and edit investigation reports, ensuring timely delivery
and professional communication with clients
Required Qualifications
College Degree in Journalism, Criminal Justice, Political Science,
Pre-Law, Paralegal, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in investigative roles, including
journalism or criminal investigations
Familiarity with criminal databases and managing investigations
from initiation to conclusion
Must pass Security Clearance to obtain a Permanent Employee
Registration Card (PERC) or already possess one
Highly tech-savvy with proficiency in Google Docs and Excel
