experience. $19.50 - $31.00 Position Highlights LPN Job Summary:
Provides for the delivery of professional nursing care under the
direction of the provider. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN ) - Board
of Nursing - An active license in the state of practice if required
upon hire.

medical assistant and clerical duties that assist in care for
clinic patients following established standards, practices, and
competency. Works collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve
practice-related problems. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles
of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to
specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's
status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide
care for the population served in the department. What you will
do
- Assists in care to patients as directed by provider based on
competency.
- Provides accurate, completed, legible and timely documentation
of all patient procedures in the medical record.
- Maintains timely flow of patients.
- Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests.
Responsible for assisting with patient and family education to
include procedures, medication use, nutrition, disease processes,
and maintenance of health and wellness, etc., based on
competency.
- Greets patients and conducts clinical interview collecting
history and vital signs.
- Labels and processes lab specimens according to lab
procedures.
- Maintains exam room for necessary supplies and materials.
Performs daily and weekly environmental cleaning and equipment
quality control and maintenance. Cleans and sterilizes medical
equipment according to policy. Follows correct procedures for
handling and disposing of bio-hazardous infectious waste.
- Provided back-up help for front desk personnel. This may
include answering telephone, scheduling and cancelling
appointments, and scheduling consult patients. Essential
Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours
specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be
able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear,
understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. These

License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National
Healthcareer Association (NHA) and Medical Assistant diploma Upon
Hire or
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National
Healthcareer Association (NHA) with one year of experience Upon
Hire or
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of
Medical Assistants (AAMA) Upon Hire or
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - American Medical
Technologists (AMT) Upon Hire Preferred Education,
License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Associate's Graduate of Medical Assistant program or diploma
