A Brief Overview
------Responsible for the supervision of staff involved with direct
patient care. Provides guidance and orientation to new hires.
Assists manager with hiring and coaching process. Coordinates
communication and workflow between imaging staff, imaging
navigators, nursing, mobile mammography services, physicians,
ancillary staff and others to create a positive outcome for
patients and staff. Leads work in a fast paced environment with the
ability to prioritize tasks, provide guidance and follow-up as
needed. Will be responsible for direct patient care as needed.

What you will do
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels to
maximize efficiency. Responsible for operations and coordination of
patient flow. Provides direct patient care as needed.
- Main resource for training new support staff, ongoing coaching.
Ensures competencies are obtained.
- Collects and maintains monthly data and trend information per
manager direction. Super user and trainer for computer system
upgrades.
- Monitors supplies and facilitates ordering as needed.
- Assists with developing, implementing, and updating department
specific policies, procedures, and competencies related to patient
care.
- Assumes daily management responsibilities in the absence of the
manager. Assists manager in agenda setting and facilitation of
staff meetings.
- Assists leader in implementing, maintaining and updating
Mammography training curriculum content and materials as needed.
Works with management team and direct patient care staff to
identify educational needs of staff. Assists with ongoing staff
development opportunities; voluntary as well as; and clinical vs.
non-clinical education. Develops education to meet ongoing staff
development needs. Collaborates with locations to ensure
consistency in program development, staff training and customer
service standards.
- Participates in quality initiatives and patient care projects.
Assists leader in meeting local, state, federal accreditations,
regulations and national quality standards for breast health
centers. Assists with the development of current and future goals
for the clinic.
- Assists leader with planning, implementation and evaluation of
community and patient breast education, marketing/promotional
materials.
- Assists with collection and maintenance of records as needed by
Quality Assurance Department, the Joint Commission accreditation,
OSHA guidelines, MQSA/ FDA, ACR or as by law.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing,
training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading
work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Qualifications
The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Bachelor's or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience
- Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) Upon Hire and
- Mammography (M) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) within 1 Year
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Related breast experience preferred
