Job Description:
Levo is a growing credit union in the Midwest dedicated to

personal finance goals. We seek a Vice President of Finance to
oversee and direct the activities of the Accounting & Payments team
and, as a part of the Executive Team, collaborate in developing and
implementing the strategic plan by providing timely and accurate
financial and payment information to help drive effective
decision-making. This role reports directly to the
President/CEO.

VP of Finance Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the
following:
Requirements
VP of Finance Specific Competencies : The ideal individual will be
a strategic thinker with excellent business acumen and ethics. Must
demonstrate ability to support change management, lead direct and
indirect teams, and possess workforce management skills. Committed
to supporting our community and developing relationships. Possess
expert-level analytical and presentation skills.
VP of Finance Supervisory Responsibilities : Directly supervises
the AVP Accounting & Payments and indirectly supervises the
Accounting and Payments teams. Carries out supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and
applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and
training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.
VP of Finance Education and Experience : Master's degree in
Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of
related experience and training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
VP of Finance Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of
the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable

VP of Finance Communication and Language Skills: Ability to read,
analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the
general public.
VP of Finance Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and
amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and
percentages.
VP of Finance Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems,
collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability
to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in
mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and
concrete variables.
VP of Finance Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an
individual should have knowledge of Advanced accounting systems;
Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Other Qualifications Must be willing to travel as necessary for
ongoing training.

Salary Description
$113,000 to $188,000 yearly, depends on experience Associated
